While emulating the OSX version is an acceptable method of playing it, windows users can play the game without emulation via the Aleph One port by W'rkncacnter. It plays a little differently to the original PID, such as no System Shock like mouse cursor interface, proper mouselook and creative keyboard shortcuts needing to be used for a few functions (which were originally done in the aforementioned giant windows HUD) but it's good.
