: I actually just remembered (or rather, was reminded by a Pfhorums post) that
: there's another plugin for Aleph One that might be more helpful. Because
: treellama's Visual Mode plugin is a little lacking in explanation for a
: new user, Hopper actually made another plugin called Vasara that serves
: the same purpose and is overall very similar, but with a significantly
: better GUI that's much easier for a new user to make sense of. That should
: help save you a lot of learning time.

Oh, wow, thank you so much for pointing this out! This is awesome! I get so frustrated with the VM plugin that I plan mapmaking around building in Forge for as much as possible before having to switch to A1 to do A1-only features. Vasara looks like it may streamline my workflow enough make my project feasible!
Fiddled with it a bit, it's even better that I expected! I may have to tweak my mouse settings while using it (while playing I set the vertical to be much less sensitive than the horizontal) and I'll still miss the point the cursor, not the camera behaviour of Forge, but I will definitely be making good use of this!
