It's possible, but at some point, I feel that someone would've found some old photos or something, or one of the higher-ups got a closer look at some of the security staff, and gone "Wait--"
My guess? Strauss knew that there were battleroids among the crew, so (assuming he was a MIDA agent, which I strongly suspect he was) he arranges to have those ten kept in stasis until a few months after he's scheduled to be taken out himself. Give the battleroids time to familiarize themselves with the layout of the ship so that when MIDA raises hell and you force those battleroids to do your bidding, they have at least some idea of where you're telling them to go.
