Gherrit White terminal MR

How do I reach the Gherrit White terminal in Marathon Resurrection? I tried grenade jumping from the barrels below the ledge but that didn't work 99% of the time.
Sometimes the grenade would get caught between the two barrels and not let me grenade jump and other times the grenades wouldn't fire at all, but there would be a muzzles flash and I would waste that grenade. Most of the time I never had enough upward momentum to reach it anyway.
I only made it up there once by random chance and even then I took the wrong teleporter and ended up in the hallway again.
I can make it in the original and M1A1 but not here. Any help?
