The thing about the time bonus is it rewards you for doing things the easy way. Want a better score? Skip a huge chunk of the upper levels of the pyramid with the teleporter and use the amazing power of foreknowledge and FAQs to forego getting the yellow crystal... except the yellow crystal is worth 2 points! Does it shave off 20 hours to not get it? Certainly not... this raises some interesting dynamics between balancing time/treasure/accuracy.
