: Just for an experiment, I tried dropping the map and watch, just to see if
: bungie would let me do it, and sure enough, they did implement that level
: of detail, with a cheeky "You don't have your map, you must have
: dropped it somewhere." If you pick it back up, everything you
: explored without it will suddenly have been instantly drawn onto it.
: Eddings must have a godlike memory and a fast hand.
: But anyway, the bug. The inventory doesn't work right after you pick them up.
: Trying to reorganize it moves the item you selected to places you didn't
: want it to go. I had to reload an old save to get it functional again.
I can say with experimentation it's an indexing problem. If the map is ever moved from it's original index, it botches up the indexes of the rest of the inventory.
Two new bugs, and I know these only exist on the OSx release:
You get stuck in a conversation with the dead german in the gold room on Beware of Low Flying Nightmares. Clicking "bye" does nothing. He won't respond to "name" or a lot of other things. They don't even get registered as commands when clicking "speak," actually. For added weirdness, you can click on the world view window and continue playing, even with the conversation window stuck like that.
If you exit the pyramid without a beacon and don't have enough time to make it to the extraction team, the epilogue message is partially incomplete.
