Good question. the Story Page only says "come on, it's you!" or otherwise tries to make you take it off. (not sure I'm remembering it 100% correctly) Maybe Jason knows or at least the guy who coded the necklace.

On a similar note, I wish that the Story Page would tell us what the text is on the "just fate of fools" hidden terminal without forcing us hunt around for possibly non-existent cheats just to find it and even then probably just to be confronted with the "you've cheated, go away" messages unless they only appear for exit terminals.
