First, I think you're overreacting to treellama's statement. He certainly wasn't being nice but he wasn't really being a jerk either.

Second, there are people who have been making serious contributions to the community for years, and I don't think it's fanboyism to say that they shouldn't have to walk on eggshells around newcomers. Maybe it was stupid of me to bring up weland like that, oh well.

There's not much going on in this community so I'm happy to see the story forum be as busy as it has been lately, but when someone posts nonsense I think we should be allowed to call them out on it. And let's be honest, lion's post (no offense lion o cyborg) had a lot of nonsense in it. There's bizarre flow of consciousness analogies about angels doing cartwheels or something, something about tree rape being hot and scary, and not a lot of actual "reviewing" going on in this "review". That doesn't really contribute to the "conversation". It's kind of just weird and in some parts annoying. Maybe this style would work in a YouTube video. Sure, there may have been some interesting points, but those interesting points were surrounded by weird nebulosity like the fatty vomiting demonse in Dante's Inferno mixed with the Gravemind riding the Wrkcancter but they have clothes made from the masterchiefs jockstrap and an angel doing a cartwheel, blurg
