In Response To: Let's Play Halo:CE pt 2—Flawless Cowboy (VikingBoyBilly) Here they manage to make an open environment very hard to find one's way around, and we really start to feel the loss of the overview map, for reasons I still can't fathom. The vehicle physics are mental, but it is a lot of fun when the marines get on board to shoot stuff, and infinite ammo turrets FTW. In the cave it took me ages to find that damn passage to the button first time around. Again, with an overview map it would have been pretty blatant. I guess the inferior map design compared to Marathon days is why we don't have one :(. The covenant dropships are indeed a right pain on legendary, and on coop just finding a space where it would let the other player respawn became very annoying also. I find the Jackals to be a pain, and their shields not to be as fragile as you make out. Getting up close and personal with them is my favoured approach, but I do enjoy wasting masses of needles on them also :).
