That's true. My brother was sure that Bolo was the way of the future. Maybe he'd still bother with games if it had properly taken off. I was never enough of a challenge; nor were the indy brains.
Spectre games were fun; I remember being told about the level jump gates in I think VR ... back when one got told things rather than reading about them on the Internets. Or now watching people playing instead of actually playing oneself ... what happened!?
