: Agreed. There are only a handful of levels in Infinity that I really enjoy.
: Oddly enough, they seem to be the ones that other folks don't like so
: much. Acme Station is one of my favorites - it just looks so damn good.
: The combat in those damn narrow hallways isn't great, but it's fun in the
: rooms. I also like Where Some Rarely Go more than Thing What Kicks, though
: both are good. By Committee is, I think, one of the best levels of the
: entire trilogy. Aye Mak Sicur is certainly stunning (in more ways than
: one), but the layout is just too confusing and it comes after several
: levels I've always thought of as unfinished. That's exactly where the
: tedium comes in - at that point I just want to finish and don't appreciate
: the level as much as I probably should.
I'll certainly give you that with Grendel, seems unfinished and seems like there was so much potential there.
One thousand thousand slimey things and converted church are among my favourite levels though, as are Poor Yorick and Confound Delivery. For mine Rise Robot Rise is dull and after that things pick up and don't stop for much. That's another level that always felt unfinished to me - several doors that just don't open, so much mystery. And some dumb stones.
