: It seems, we are almost at the point of being able to do a proper play
: through of the original Trojan under Aleph One, and if anyone should want
: to, a more faithful to the original port/enhancement than the old port to
: M2, which completely lacked the original's surprisingly good music and
: thus made me so sad I never played it.
Unfortunately, some amount of modification is still necessary to play Marathon TCs in Aleph One. I believe Trojan comes as a set of patches that have to be applied in Classic, and of course the music would also have to be extracted and converted to .ogg since we don't have access to QuickTime Musical Instruments.
For many TCs this is not a problem, but the author of Trojan was very clear about not permitting distribution of an Aleph One-friendly version. So, the best we can do for Trojan is provide instructions on how to do everything yourself--but you'll still need a classic Mac to put everything together.
