In Response To: Re: Marathon vs. Doom Engine Specifics (Hopper) ::: Anyway, for now, you can open them in Aleph One, save them with .save
:: I am sorry, I am missing a step here, how do I go about doing this? : 1. Vidmaster jump to the level you want to open. (Ctrl+Shift+N, or Cmd-Opt-N
Thanks Hopper! :) :: It seems, we are almost at the point of being able to do a proper play
: To be clear, third-party Marathon scenarios will not be supported for the 1.1
Not a problem, I understand completely. :) Regarding Trojan, I really can't remember (it was so long ago), but was the game data hidden away in the Marathon app hacked for Trojan? I know that in Trojan Legacy, the M2 port of Trojan, and for Excalibur: Morgana's Revenge, a tool called Fux! was used to modify all this hidden data. All this hidden data was about damage types, screen effects when hit, etc.. Trojan was written before Fux!, but I seem to remember it had its own app (.exe in Windows terms). I assume most of the data normally hidden in the Marathon/M2/MI app is able to be modified in MML, is this correct?
