There were three. Pfhorte, Mia, and Marathon Map Editor.
I will say that Bernie Freidin created an application called MarathonEdit 0.0alpha which allowed you to edit the map points of the Marathon gamma map file. He released it in Dec 1, 1994. It was the first ever Marathon map editor of sorts. You couldn't make new maps with it just edit the Marathon gamma maps. But hey... you needed the gamma map file. Cheers
