I'm back.

I'm glad we can finally break cover on this- it's been in progress for a long time. It's kind of a miracle that Bungie still had the source lying around at all, and that Bruce was able to convince someone to take the time to make it available and negotiate the release. It's exactly the same game, it's even compatible with old save files if you still have any of those lying around.

I should also thank the members of this forum for posting, over the years, several things that helped out with ambiguities and missing elements of the provided code, such as the shape loader and how to read the conversation structs (specifically, that would be Loren Petrich, Alexander Strange, and Ron Hunsinger). Even I don't know everything about this game; I don't think any one person who didn't work at Bungie in those days ever will.

Have fun with the port; I hope making it more accessible lets more people play it now!
