Thanks for the additional info. All the evidence points to 2.5 being the correct version of QT to play the music.

Trying to do a conversion using later versions will result in those odd instrument changes described by President People: "A couple tracks (such as The Arrival, and Dance the Last Waltz With Me) have the cymbal replaced with a piano. How does that even happen? "
