That's a good point. According to the Trojan Demo's Read Me, the mod had “been in development for almost 18 months”. The creation date of the document is March 30th 1997. So that puts it around October 1995. But who knows when the music was actually created.
Another interesting point is that the manual recommends “2.5 or later”. If it was intended for an earlier version, wouldn't they have recommended that as a minimum requirement?
