Double-tap door switches date back to Marathon. The first that springs to mind is on Couch Fishing, knowing how it works can be very helpful in not trapping yourself. Indeed, you don't have to go further than Arrival to find a double-tap switch. The very first switch in the game is double-tap, though i doubt few people actually use it as such. But I agree, the one on By Committee takes the cake. Impossibly fast and out of sight. It reminds me of another Greg Kirkpatrick secret area. The secret Tycho terminal on Blaspheme Quarantine. This was impossible to find without a map editor. Grenade jumping onto a ledge and stepping onto a specific trigger poly opens a silent door out of sight which only remains open for 4-5 seconds. And you're right... Greg was probably chucking away to himself. Cheers
