This doubtless the inspiration for Marathon's shotgun, perhaps even the sound effect.

However, Marathon's shotgun is infinitely more sophisticated. When the animation occurs in Marathon, it's not just cocking the gun, it's also reloading it. And it's not just reloading it, it's loading two side-by-side barrels.

Here's a question: how do grenades get loaded into the MA75?
