Interesting find. Looking at your S'pht'Kr pics you posted the 2nd and 4th ones definitely look like there is something in there possibly resembling a S'pht. It wouldn't surprise me if Rob McLees did put in this kind of detail. Just look at those M2 terminal pics that still remain undeciphered. Because the S'pht'Kr is an asymmetrical creature (see Rob's interview) he would have had to draw each orientation separately, not just flip them (left to right etc). So he had the opportunity to do something neat like this.
