IT'S A GAME! Uhm... sorry. It's a game, the music isn't on the ships, it's in YOUR speakers. It sets a mood, it's cool.
This is like asking why the Imperial March was always blaring trough the Death Star's speakers.

Maybe the music wasn't on any speakers. Maybe the 10th Military Mjolnir had an iPod and the music is on his headphones, and that's why you hear the music everywhere.
