Eternal X Commentary: "Dread Not"

In Response To: Eternal volunteers: "Hulk" ... "Dread Not" (pfhore)

Level 34: "Dread Not"
(Created by Don-Martin Antell. The title is of course a play on the word "Dreadnaught".)
You teleport into space. After floating a few moments, you teleport again into a large Jjaro ship. After wandering the ship for a while and encountering scattered Pfhor forces, you find a terminal:
[L34-T1-Unfinished]
(This clever, never explicitly revealed trick of Hathor's, on this and the previous two levels - and the way it's only hinted at in the terminal texts through little dialogue giveaways and subtle visual differences - is one of my personal favorite bits of writing in Eternal. I've always been fond of movies and books where things aren't explicitly stated, but if you're paying close attention you'll notice them - it feels somehow more rewarding to me to catch those things myself - so I tried to create something like that here. I sometimes wonder how many people caught it, and how many people never noticed that anything tricky was going on at all...).
Near the self-destruct mechanism is another terminal:
[L34-T4-Unfinished]
If you proceed straight from there to the exit terminal, it will read thus:
[L34-T3-Unfinished]
You will then be teleported out to Level 35: "Bug-Eyed In Space".
However, you may happen across a room with this curious terminal in it:
[L34-T2-Unfinished]
In this room is the ship's Cybernetic Junction. If you for some reason decide to destroy it before heading to the exit terminal, Leela will comment on your good thinking:
[L34-T3-Finished]
You will then be teleported out to Level 38: "Once More Unto The Breach".
