: Hi everyone, I'm new to these boards but I've been playing Marathon since I
: was a kid. For some reason I only just discovered the whole Aleph One
: thing and had no idea Marathon still has so many fans.
Welcome back from stasis! lol
: Anyway, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask for technical advice,
: but I recently bought a macbook and just a few days ago I decided to give
: Forge a go, but unfortunately I need OS 9 to work it. Is there any way I
: can get around this?
In my computer system preferences, there's a setting called "Mac OS classic" which lets me run old applications. If you don't have it for some reason then switch to system OS 9 to run it by going to system preferences, and going to startup disk. I don't know how to upgrade forge maps to Aleph one though. There's also new forge's for Mac called: 'Pfhorge" and I think other ones.
