Tycho, IIRC, is trying to beat Durandal to becoming a god. Tycho wants to beat Durandal to beat him. I see Tycho as a punk who just wants his way. Durandal was at least reserved about it.

I disagree with this too. Durandal was the one who predicted nearly everything and finally trapped the W'rkncacnter. I always saw Tycho's clone as flippin' crazy. He acts exactly like the Pfhor do: killing and threatening everything. Durandal may have been a ruthless killer, but he just ignored people he did not like. Tycho was always killing people.
