In Response To: Re: EX-TERM-IN-ATE! (Forrest of B.org) : So "Rescue" mission types do differentiate between monsters marked
: What are the 'finished' conditions of a Rescue level anyway? Rescue means that a certain number of civilians (bobs and vacbobs) must be alive to make the mission successful. When too many of them die, the mission changes to unsuccessful. I don't know if being a civilian is hardcoded into these slots, or if the enemy mark has something to do with it. Either way. Place these cyborgs in a vacbob slot for this level and you're on the safe side.(and umark the enemy mark) A good idea would be to copy the current level and delete all monsters from it. Place 3 cyborgs outside the ship, and see how many of them you have to kill to switch the mission to unsuccesful. If it chnages to unsuccesful before the third is down, add one more cyborg, so there's four of them. Repeat this process until you have to kill 3 cyborgs to make the mission unsuccessful. You might get a few cyborgs that you will need to hide. Either make a separate polygon for them, if there's any left, or place them in a zoneborder and mark them with: teleport in
