I just tried it; sadly, it won't let me use a network drive as my CD source. This thing doesn't have an internal optical drive, so I've been using my desktop's DVD Rom drive as a shared drive. I hope you'll forgive me for not wanting to shell out another couple - hundred bucks on a portable drive...
