I had the same problem!
If you're patient enough, you can look at the MML documentation shipped with AlephOne (called MML.html) and edit your Preferences file with TextEdit. If you try really hard, you can map all the keys to how you want them.
treellama: I've found that once you edit your keys using the above method, it stops crashing if you try to edit them further from within the application. Perhaps the default Preferences file uses a single, specific keycode that makes it barf? Does this make sense? Should I bother to look into it?
