: I had the same problem!
: If you're patient enough, you can look at the MML documentation shipped with
: AlephOne (called MML.html) and edit your Preferences file with TextEdit.
: If you try really hard, you can map all the keys to how you want them.
: treellama: I've found that once you edit your keys using the above method, it
: stops crashing if you try to edit them further from within the
: application. Perhaps the default Preferences file uses a single, specific
: keycode that makes it barf? Does this make sense? Should I bother to look
: into it?
I tried editing the prefs in Textedit, and it works...
The only disadvantage is, that I pretty much has to guess what number the new key (the one that's not in use) has. I can't find a chart of that on the net. That has resulted in a LOT of guessing (trial and error), but I have pretty much got it right by now.
I only hoped to find a chart so I can get my colleagues to play with me after hours. Easier if it's easy to set up.
Btw - Thanks to you both for your help!
