well, lots of logos remind me of marathon... and when i see something similiar to something in marathon i shout "HAH! that's like in Marathon" or "HAHAHA!! THEY STOLE THAT FROM MARATHON!!!!" and then people start shouting at me and telling me to stop talking about that darn marathon game :P

: After finishing another essay for university, running Appleworks
: spellchecker reminded me how much Bungie's Marathon pervades everyday life
: for me.

: It goes beyond physical reminders of Marathon. Rather, it's the subtle fact
: my spell checker insists the correct spelling of " Oberon " is
: in fact " Nebulon ", and that at the top of every other suggest
: word list is " Thoth ".

: Perhaps I'm the only person who experiences a jolt of weird excitement when
: he sees the word "Marathon" in a BattleStar Galatica SF
: channel ad, or who percieves my local "Television Road" for
: something other than it really is.
: Does anyone else encounter things like in day to day life?
