That's gross. I'd say that a photographic memory would be likely though; he could "capture" the image, then "read" it in his "mind's eye" at lightning speed, if you "will", and "just" for "emphasis", why not put some more "inverted commas" in there to round it out. Just to prevent any disgusting eye-ball-catching-on-fire incidents.
