We Can See In The Dark- Can You? | ||

I'm sure most of us remember the good old PiD level We Can See In The Dark-Can You? Well that is the level I am currently working on for Marathon: Pathways into Darkness and I was wondering if anyone here might have an idea about how I could make it a "unique" level. I always hated that level but it was none the less a very unique level, with flying rats and all. I have no obvious way of implementing the rats and so the level (to me when I test it) is lacking, it has lost its uniqueness (there's that word again, although with a ness on the end). Any ideas on how we can make the level special? John Molloy has suggested I put light triggers throughout the map so that at certain points the player finds himself in complete darkness. I quite like the idea but are there any other ideas? Nick PS: When We Can See In The Dark is finished 30 of 50 levels for MPiD will have been completed. |
