I'd say there're two different creatures there. Below, it looks to me like one of the defense drones, but above I'd say is a S'pht. Not a Compiler, just a plain old S'pht. Anyone remember the image from the first terminal on Charon Doesn't Make Change (M2)?
Also, perhaps it's just me but the Hound looks a lot like a Zerg Hydralisk from Blizzard's Starcraft.
