(anyone know how to make less than and greater than symbols on this forum? i can't figure it out, so i stripped them) I AM TYCHO!
I shall destroy Durandal.

~!#31`c/dr.~/dr.~!#3!#3c/dr. Tycho seems to be showing you a path to something when suddenly Durandal pops into the middle of it and starts defending himself. The only thing in common are the battleroids. Weird that Tycho claims he shall destroy Durandal before this trip down history lane. I want you to pay for what you've done to these poor
Is Tycho blaming Durandal for when the Battleroids got onto both
Something else to note is two choice words in this sentence: The rampage of the Battleroid was short lived. In other words, the Battleroid went rampant. The Battleroid bit is singular, but that could be literary instead of implied only one Battleroid had a ramage. But the rampage/rampant bit is too hard to ignore. Was Durandal involved somehow? Is Tycho blaming Durandal because he killed almost everyone? Or read on for a second theory that stemmed from this terminal... The Martian Conflict 2345-48 was the Third Martian War, 2345-48 which was started by this incident: In a flash decision, the commander of the Hovertank ordered
Could these be the people that Tycho is referring to? Or perhaps the most destructive and bloody conflict
In any case, the only bit that I can read in the Misriah Massacre
No mention of who informed them of this. Something else that is weird, all of the other sections mentioned the Battleroid(s) yet there is no mention of a cyborg in the Misriah Massacre account. Is there something that isn't being said about that incident? But the Battleroid(s) engaged in battle in 2194. 2345 is 151 years later (and yes, before you ask, 1 + 5 + 1 = 7). We know ten Battleroid(s) were placed on the Marathon. How did Strauss get ahold of these? Why are they still active? (on another side note, the LNP notes 2442- Misriah Massacre at food Riot which is fully a century off. Go figure. Other dates changed too, and the important one being that the Marathon took off after all of the other historical events mentioned here meaning Strauss could have been doing things during these incidences) So how do these stack up to other things said about Durandal's shame? Pulling everything relevant from the current Durandal pages: Durandal!- I know of Strauss' abuse, of your shame on Mars.
Did Strauss use the Battleroids against the rules? Did he force Durandal to do so? This doesn't explicitly say taht Strauss was the cause of Durandal's shame, just that they are related. It seems that everyone thought Strauss abused Durandal, which he did, but that may not be what this is referring to at all. I am disturbed by how easily the cyborgs were secretly
I have noticed that Durandal's records from this early
The early twenty-fourth century would be around the Third Martian War (both terminals were from Marathon 1).
"Tycho's reference to "these poor people" is presumably the Marathon's crew." Hmm... maybe a bad presumption? This is a quote from outside of a terminal by who I'm assuming is Hamish. It is certainly possible that Tycho was referring to the Marathon crew, but Tycho was just about to talk about the Massacre. Both are likely, but the Massacre has the advantage of context. ;P What fun to watch you work.
Berhnard was scared of you. He never
I wish that I had made him experience the
Well... that sure implies that Berhnard (Strauss) used "You", a Battleroid. So somewhere in the history between Durandal and Strauss "You" popped up and have been tied to their fate ever since. However, there is also a reference to Durandal's humilitation which is quite different from shame. Shame can be experienced because of bad actions done ("I'm ashamed at myself"). This humiliation was inflicted. And this humiliation would be something Berhnard could experience. Does that mean similar actions, or just great humiliation? Is the humiliation and the shame referring to the same incident? Where did Strauss actually use "You"? That's right. I said slavery. So what? You're a slave here;
Is this slavery the journey of the Marathon? "If Durandal was Traxus IV could the "Crash of Traxus IV in 2206", referred to in "Defend THIS!", be Durandal's shame on Mars and his purging by humanity?" 2206 is after The rampage of the Battleroid which occurred in 2194. Other than that I don't think there is any connection between what I've talked about here. So it's still valid, but I don't know that it matters in this discussion. Human!- You must tell L~`~fx~`eela #^ (^*T~~~~~HGFd~>:"}}}{__
Assuming that Strauss was he, Strauss used this to control Durandal and do what? If the brought here by Durandal was referring to the Phor, did Strauss manipulate Durandal into calling the Phor? I would say this is highly unlikely. But it's another theory to throw out there. Your last mission was a success, but I have terrible news.
"And now we come to an interesting question - we have a message from Strauss to Durandal saying "Your last mission was a success..." Are we to understand that Strauss was giving Durandal orders even during the alien attack? And that Durandal was obeying?! And what exactly was Durandal's last mission?" If this is a message from Strauss to Durandal, Strauss is still apparently trying to control Durandal. Could the last mission be calling the Phor? Durandal appears to take full responsibility for that here: i did it i did it i brought all this here all them here. our
So maybe not. Curious, but now I've been rambling too long, so I'll wrap it up. :) And... that got long. And I have another curious topic to post on before the night is done. *sigh* Well, what do people think? Am I way off course here? Let me know if you spot any typos or something that doesn't make sense. I'm a little tired right now and my eye is strangely irritating me. |
