Partially, yes. When I get dropped into a vacuum level, I feel that same way that I feel when I do when I'm in a statistics exam that I know I've only crammed for. I get really frantic and I always end up missing something; an ammo stash, a better weapon, or a switch I need to hit...

I guess it's also a function of my playing style. I like to go methodically and patiently through a level, making sure I've explored every last area. If the whole lot of us were in the army, I'd probably be one of those sniper-type people who has to have the time to patiently get every single shot right.

Kinda hard to do that when you see that blue bar in your hud dwindle down to zero, and you still can't find the damn O2 recharer -- either that or you've been too caught up in trying to finish the level on time with fists that you've forgotten where it is. *cough*Acme Station*cough*
