Vidding is the highest level of skill in marathon imo (besides being the king of network games). Basically a vidmaster starts each level with 1x shields and the magnum (which isnt used all that much), completes the level, and uploads the film. To become a vidmaster you'll have to become adept with your fists, learn to trigger aliens into 'berserk' mode, and use circle strafing a lot. Once you get the basics down you might want to test yourself with levels such as Bigger Guns Nearby (M1), What About Bob? (M2), and Foe Hammer (Mi). If you're looking for a challenge I'd recommend Habe Quiddam (M1), Unpfhorgiven (M1), Euphoria (M1), Begging for Mercy Makes Me Angry (M2), Feel the Noise (M2), the dreaded Acme Station (Mi), and Hang Brain (Mi). In terms of difficulty to vid of the three main scenarios, M2 seems to be the easiest to vid, followed by Mi and then M1.
