I liked the feel of this level better with the fish eye, and the black and white thing sounds cool.
About the terminal, it gives me goosebumps everytime I read it, but it seems a little too obvious that it's durandal (unless it's not, then I am an ass indeed)
but I greatly like the line about you not remebering him.

For what it's worth, let me tell you what happened after I finished chapter five: I sat stairing into my computer screen, with this weird tingling feeling all thourgh me, and in the middle of it all, the thought and feeling of "wow". Magical.
