That DOES have botmatch. I had a chance to play it a few weeks ago.

I probably should have looked for a server browser instead, but for some reason it didn't occur to me that there might be other people playing.

There have been a few Marathon mods/scenarios that tried making enemies seem like other players or Mjolnir cyborgs. Get Some, TC19, and Operation Tantalus come to mind.
