Actually, all Marathon games have fucking PATHETIC network code. Anyone else here have a game ruined when the client gets out of sync with the server? Scratch that, anyone here had a network game which did NOT get out of sync?

Engine/zero is going very well, thank you muchly. Aleph is a pretty crap engine, that can't seriously be denied, and most of the code is still Bungie - even if it is allowed to be released. Making new file formats would be a very straightfoward task for someone with even basic programming skills, but honestly wouldn't be worth the effort. Go for Quake, or wait for me to finish my new engine :D ...
