You said it yourself - it's a PC! OK, enough PC bashing, especially because I'm going to be forced to buy a high-end PC workstation next year for my research - can't avoid it any more - virtually every single medical ultrasound scanner on the market now is PC based and the software for extracting the data is Windows-only. *Sigh*

Your problem sounds like an IE autofill issue, but you can always override this by checking the subject field before submitting. Check your IE options to see if you can remove "Subject" from autofill. And you can always turn autofill off.
