I think it's safe to say you made a good decision. I dare anyone here to put on a pair of disco-pants and not love it.
Come to think of it, I always liked the M1 marine sprite better than the M2 sprite. Now I know why :)
One more thing- I didn't think he looked like Tom Cruise, atleast that wasn't my first impression. I thought he looked more like Ding Chavez of the Rainbow 6 games (I say games, because he isn't actually in picture form in the book). But that's just what I think.

Good to hear that you're going to still work it to fit your vision. 'Cause if you create something that you're unsatisfied with, well... you'll get a Frankinstien. Regrets of "It could have been more", followed by reports that your project is roaming the countryside killing people.
