Yeah, that works... looks good man!

Experiment a litle bit more, make it look a little less obvious when you use filters. Art snobs will kill you for using PhotoShop filters, but I use tons of them to get some of my best effects. the trick is to use them creatively rather than just use the "out of the box" filter settings.

One of the coolest things in Photoshop is the "Filter:Fade Filter" command... try applying that Glass Distortion filter (or Reticulation/Plastic Wrap) or whatever you used on the metal wall using different opacities or blending modes. You might stumble across some really nice effects.

For the blood, open up some of the natural media or faux finish brushes that ship with photoshop and use a non-round brush. You'll get a more natural "splatter" look.

BTW, what does "10582" refer to? i mean it reduces to 7, but what doesn't?
