Well, there are several reasons that I think there should be an entirely new project. First, the entries that are there are fine, but they don't really have anything that explains hidden or otherwise not obviously seen meanings. If we start with new entries and new options, we can make that a reality with those that are already on the site. Secondly, anyone can post whatever they want on there. Now, I'm sure no one here would do this, but I can sense numerous "OMG WTF MARATHON = SUX HALO ROXXORS LOLZ" messages or something similar. It also seems possible that some people can advertize there. While it wouldn't be too much of a problem since

Thirdly, unless I'm completely missing something, there's no way to just see all the topics in alphabetical order. That bothers me.

And lastly, a new project can incorporate more people and possibly be more available to people.

If we decide to go ahead on the Wikipedia plan, then it would be proper to contact the person running the MaraWiki and see if we can jump aboard or whatnot.
