I'd like to help with what I can. I think an HTML format with search would be the best idea personally. And Kago, thank you. I've been waiting for someone to say something like that. I mean really I hope people don't beleive the original Bungie group thought up half the stuff we have, but the thing you missed is that its fucking fun to think up all the crazy references and hidden meanings, and guess at which ones they placed there intentionally and which is totally pulled out of our collective rectums.
It's magical. Hoopflah.
So yeah, I'll take a few items and try to define them :)
