Well, I'm thinking that having two seperate entries for each topic can solve this. The first would be things that are stated explicitly in Marathon, Marathon 2, or Marathon Infinity. The second entry would have all the theories on what certain things mean and how they interact with everything else.
An obvious example that I can think of off the top of my head is the player's hieght. The first entry would just say "According to the manual, you are considered to be larger and stronger than anyone else in the colony" or something of that sort. If it is explicitly stated or suggested with minimal thought, it would be fact. I do realize that there will be exceptions, but they can be handled on a case-by-case basis. The second entry would have all the theories and their evidence. For example: "The player could be 5'3" according to Forge. [Calculation goes here, there's quite a bit of it]." It would include all theories and its evidence, but also how it can be disproven. It should be impartial.
Of course, with some entries, there would be nothing but speculation. The Gherrit White terminal jumps immediately into my mind. That can be dealt with, though.
