Exactly what I was going to say. Anybody remember the push to ban the Dead Kennedys and other music by Tipper Gore and the PMRC? Remeber her being 'misquoted' "I wasn't involved with the [Frankenchrist] trial. But I would be proud if I was." Remember her wanting to put 'Occult' warning labels on CDs? This is just the same people trying to do this ame thing but in a different medium.
One of the big arguments made against videogames is not just the violence, but the interactivity of it. Essentially they are saying that I cannot understand the difference between shooting someone in reality, or a game. Why doesn't anyone see interactivity as a good argument for games? I wonder what the % of games is that makes people think logically and constructively to solve puzzles? That is an invaluable skill to teach children.
In my experience anything that can make someone think Isn't a bad thing.
