It's late on the east coast - so I'll mull this over over night. I still think that level V would be a cool area for Durandal's core and it would give purpose to all the places you must go, but this is your decision since it's your scenario. I would point out, however - I don't have the terminals in front of me and I think this was discussed in the forum some time back - that Durandal was brought on board the Marathon after Lela and Tycho, and he was of a different origin. This would certainly explain a different core design, but the differences could be as much a matter of software as hardware. I'll try to find the posts related to this tomorrow.
