Just to provide a counterbalance to this and the subsequent posts. Although Rubicon isn't perfect, excluding the Salinger Plank it is absolutely the most faithful continuation of Bungie's original Marathon story of any completed 3rd party scenario out there today. Now you can talk about WMaiD being the true M4 - it's certainly a bridge between Infinity and Rubicon - but it hasn't been released yet. Heck, it's been months since Blayne sent me a beta to test, and that was many versions ago. Eternal is being released incrimentally and although it has promise, Mk I is little more than a teaser. I'm sticking with Rubicon as the reigning unofficial M4 champ and leave it to the rest of you to release something to knock it off its throne.
