I always play in software. Is it even possible yet to get 128x128 graphics on a Mac with only 8MB VRAM? Isn't hardware mode still buggy, with terminals not showing or flickering or something?

Which reminds me. From ScenarioNews, June 29 update, about Beyond Aurora:

"Note on getting the Dusk textures to work: Make sure you have OpenGL on in Aleph One and that the Scripts and Textures folders are inside the Aleph One folder. The manuals that come with the new games explain it further."

I haven't gotten around to downloading it yet (what with PF etc), but does that mean I can't use it without OpenGL mode? That ####!
