: Even if you rename the file with the appropriate extension, the Mac OS won't
: recognize the type from this alone - a legacy of the pre OS X type and
: creator codes. You will need to use a 3rd party utility to manually edit
: the file type to AIFF. I use File Buddy, which is shareware and does a
: whole lot more. There are several freeware apps to do this, too - a search
: at VersionTracker or MacUpdate should net you one - or you could use
: ResEdit. In any case, I know for a fact that this works - at least for me.
Speaking of music, I downloaded the remakes of the original Marathon music (by Chibi-usa, whoever she is), but I can't get them to work with M1A1. I converted them all to AIFF files using the converter thingie in iTunes (I used ResEdit to check the original music files for M1A1 and see what fomrmat they're in, and they're AIFF files too). I also made sure the names matched, and all that stuff. I even changed the creator type to TVOD fo "Landing" and tried playing the first level. No music. All the levels have no music. Anyone know how to get this to work?
