It reads SDL Images files directly, without having to convert from data fork to resource fork? I'll have to try that. Did you try it with both the OS 9 and OS X versions?
I tried again to convert a Map file from SDL to Mac, and this time it worked just by renaming it to Map.bin and opening it with StuffIt Expander 5. So maybe Forrest can just include MacBinary'd Map file, with the necessary type and creator codes for Mac users to unstuff it.
I wonder if you can MacBinary the Images file and use the same trick there.
I thought portmaster was only used to convert map files to the M2 for Win95 format.
